Kid-friendly Green Smoothie

Serving size: 2

2 bananas

4 medium or 2 large kale leaves (stems removed), or 1 cup spinach

2 cups water to start, more if desired

1 cup cashews or almonds

1 apple (core removed)

1 Tbsp coconut oil (optional)

honey to taste (optional)


Step 1:

Put bananas, kale, nuts, apple, and water into your blender.  Blend on high until smooth. Add coconut oil and blend for about 1 minute.  Taste and blend in honey as needed.


Note:  If your bananas are not very ripe, add additional honey or apple to sweeten.
