Sonoma Belle (Mocktail / Cocktail)
2 cups + 1 Tbsp Ginger Beer
1 C Lemon Juice
1/4 C Sugar
3 Tbsp of Liber Pinot Noir vinegar (or other very light and fruity vinegar)
10 Mint Springs
8-12 oz Bourbon (Optional)
Rinse mint leaves and remove any thick stems. Set aside. Put ginger ale in refrigerator to chill.
Add mint leaves to your cocktail shaker with a small amount of the Ginger Beer and muddle. In a large pitcher mix lemon juice, sugar, ginger beer, vinegar, and muddled mint. Pour mixture into a Collins glass full of ice and top with a double-shot of Bourbon and a garnish of mint. Serve!
This works great as an alcohol-free mocktail or for a mixed group of drinkers & non-drinkers. To make as a mocktail, simply skip the bourbon and the drink stands alone.
Zesty Sage Refresher
1 cup ice
2-4 sage leaves
1 cup grapefruit juice
1 tbsp of Liber Zinfandel vinegar (or other very light and fruity vinegar)
2 oz gin (Optional)
In a cocktail shaker muddle sage leaves and then add ice, vinegar, gin (optional), and grapefruit juice. Shake well. Pour into highball glass, and garnish with a sage leaf. Enjoy!
